Barton Malow and M. B. Kahn Seeking Preconstruction Services for MUSC Indian Land Hospital and Medical Office Building Project June 10, 2024

Barton Malow and M. B. Kahn, A Joint Venture (BM+MBK) is seeking interest for preconstruction services for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) – Indian Land Hospital and Medical Office Building Project from the following trades: steel, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. This project will be a new MUSC campus located in Indian Land, SC. The hospital project will consist of an estimated 154,000SF hospital, including a basement, two-story podium, two-story bed tower, and a rooftop mechanical penthouse. The MOB project will consist of an estimated 62,000 BGSF medical office building, including a linear accelerator, radiation oncology, infusion, primary care, and other critical services. This solicitation is for the hospital as well as Medical Office Building. It will be at the sole discretion of BM+MBK to award the Hospital separately from the MOB if there is either a program need or program benefit to awarding these buildings as separate projects and to separate partners. Additional program elements may be added to, deleted from, or requested to be separated from the scope of this RFQ at BM+MBK’s discretion.
