Scott Appleton Promoted to Executive Vice President February 15, 2023

M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Appleton to Executive Vice President. In his new role, Scott manages the company’s division in Columbia, SC that focuses on industrial projects. He is responsible for sales, marketing, preconstruction, and construction operations. His division’s current projects include industrial facilities in the Southeast from Punta Gorda, FL to Stuarts Draft, VA.

Scott is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. After joining M. B. Kahn in 1994 as a Project Manager, he was promoted to Vice President, and now an Executive Vice President. He was appointed as a SC Contractors Licensing Board Member by Nikki Haley in 2016. His natural talent in leadership and vast industrial knowledge make him a valuable mentor to his team and the company as a whole.
