Bidder Prequalification Request January 10, 2023

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: 

BIDDER PREQUALIFICATION REQUEST:  M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc., the Construction Manager @ Risk for Chowan County, NC and Edenton-Chowan Schools, is seeking to prequalify construction trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Replacement John A. Holmes High School project in Edenton, NC. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  This project consists of the abatement of hazardous materials and demolition of the existing high school (in phases). It also includes the construction of a new, two-story high school (approx. 155,000sf) on the existing site.

Historically underutilized business participation is encouraged. Target bid date: March 2023.

PREQUALIFICATION INFO SESSION: A non-mandatory, virtual, Prequalification Info Session will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 1:00pm.
