Throwing back to 1955 when we completed the Medical College of South Carolina, now called the MUSC Health University Medical Center. The facility was MUSC’s first teaching hospital. It helped expand clinical teaching opportunities and serve as a major referral center for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
