AIA Greater Columbia Monthly Membership Meeting & Tour at the Columbia Museum of Art (CMA) May 3, 2018

M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc. sponsored the AIA Greater Columbia Monthly Membership Meeting & Tour at the Columbia Museum of Art (CMA) on Wednesday, May 2nd, from 11:45am – 1:00pm. The tour, presented by the CMA, concentrated on the extensive renovations currently underway by M. B. Kahn. The renovations will provide the museum with new galleries for the display of additional art, a new events space, an update to the main lobby and Garden Terrace area, and a new main entrance off Main Street complete with new steel and glass canopy. The Design Architect for this project is Verner Johnson. AIA Greater Columbia is a subsidiary of the AIA South Carolina chapter and the national American Institute of Architects.
