The only LEED-Certified hotel in Columbia, this 84,600-square-foot facility consists of five stories and 122 rooms. It also includes a salt-water pool, sports-themed restaurant (Sporting News Grill), and 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, business, and fitness centers. As a LEED®-Gold-Certified project, the hotel was designed to reduce its carbon footprint, achieve water efficiency, and reduce energy consumption. The use of recycled pool-side furniture, tankless water heaters, rain harvesting, solar hot water heating systems, and native plants for landscaping are just a few of a long list of steps taken to build this hotel to be as kind to the environment as possible.
