M. B. Kahn was selected for this fast-track delivery of a new manufacturing and distribution center in Anderson, SC. The facility features a 250,000 SF air-conditioned high bay warehouse space with 31 truck dock positions, plus another 241,000 SF of manufacturing space. The manufacturing space includes individual bays for six lines of manufacturing equipment with a full height precast concrete separation wall between each line. The building features a fully-sprinklered ESFR system and is constructed with load-bearing precast walls and a structural steel frame. Extensive electrical work required two 4000 amp transformers and main panel boards to separate the building infrastructure and process equipment loads.
