GE Gas Turbines Engine Combustor Testing Facility Greenville, South Carolina

This 214,500-square-foot testing facility includes 54,500 square feet of exterior process piping and support steel as well as 160,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution areas. The project consisted of a phased implementation of process piping and instrumentation. M. B. Kahn was responsible for the overall systems integration and functionality and self-performed the concrete equipment foundations, cistern, and weir tank modifications. The facility contains a full service kitchen/cafeteria, piping and instrumentation, multiple fuel delivery systems, a manifold exhaust system, 10′ X 10′ common stack, tank farm, and weir tank modifications.
