Lake Hartwell Water Treatment Plant Improvements Anderson, South Carolina

The scope of this project included the construction of 1,000 feet of new 36-inch raw water transmission main, the modification of the existing raw water pump discharge header to accommodate two additional raw water pumps, a new raw water flow meter and control valve (rate-of-flow controller), a new 12-MGD flocculation and sedimentation upflow clarifier, a new transfer pump, new finished water flow meter, chlorine system improvements, a new caustic soda bulk storage tank, and two standby power generators.
