Celebrating the MUSC West Ashley Grand Opening January 8, 2020

Great to see one of our Charleston projects highlighted in The Post and Courier! The Medical University of South Carolina is marking the arrival of 2020 with a new health care outpost in an unlikely location: a suburban shopping mall. M. B. Kahn is partnering with MUSC to transform the former J.C. Penney department store at Citadel Mall into the 128,000 square foot MUSC Health West Ashley Medical Pavilion. The campus, opening on time after work started in October 2018, features two new operating rooms, a lab, a pediatric after-hours clinic, and physical therapy offices. One fun feature – visitors can find their way around thanks to football-style yard markers covering the floor.
