Lexington Medical Center Groundbreaking June 20, 2019

Lexington Medical Center has broken ground on their new medical facility near the intersection of Clemson and Longtown Roads in Northeast Columbia. As the Construction Manager @ Risk for this project, M. B. Kahn is hard at work helping to bring this 225,000 square foot building to life. In fact, President Robert Chisholm was on hand to help celebrate the groundbreaking. Lexington Medical Center Northeast will provide patients with urgent care and imaging services, outpatient surgery, occupational therapy, physical therapy, a walking trail, and classroom space. When the facility opens, it is expected to create 125 jobs, and create up to 400 additional jobs as new physician practices are added in the future. (Images courtesy of Lexington Medical Center.)
