Kara Soles Joins M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc. as Vice President of Business Development May 9, 2016
M. B. Kahn Construction Co., Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Kara Soles in the role of Vice President of Business Development.
Hired to further M. B. Kahn’s position in support of state and local economic developers, Soles will be responsible for presenting the company and its credentials to prospects moving into our region and for driving business development activities across South Carolina by networking with state and local economic development officials in the Midlands, Pee Dee, and Low Country. She will further represent M. B. Kahn in economic development functions that are sponsored by regional economic development agencies and alliances and repeat customers, and she will be responsible for identifying prospects and emerging markets. As Kynn Harris, Executive Vice President stated, “We are delighted to have Kara join our team. We are confident that her experience and expertise will be key factors in our continued growth across the state and region.”
Soles brings exceptional sales and client relations experience. She specializes in driving targeted business development activities and developing and managing business networks. Soles comes to M. B. Kahn from Aerotek, a top global recruiting and staffing agency. There, she served as an account manager in their Columbia office and was responsible for business development, team oversight, recruiting strategy, and execution for Aerotek’s Architecture, Engineering, Environment, and Construction Services Divisions for South Carolina. She received Aerotek’s 2015 “Rookie of the Year” award for Columbia and Greenville operations by going above and beyond set expectations and targeted goals.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of South Carolina.
